With
more than thirty years of experience in engineering
and manufacturing behind them, NEELTRAN products have
become the most reliable in the industry and our engineers
have the knowledge and ability to meet the special
requirements of our customers.
The
development of improved insulating materials has enabled
us to produce better air-cooled transformers that
last longer, and leads us to ask the question, "why
not twenty years?" Under normal operating conditions,
the most prevalent factor in transformer failure is
thermal aging and degradation. By designing transformers
that use materials well under their approved operating
limits, both thermal and electrical, we have been
able to assure long life, safety and reliability.
In
coil winding, the heart of our product line, we employ
an insulation system that is U.L. recognized and approved
for continuous operation at 180°C or we have a
220 deg C system. This includes all copper windings,
all insulating materials, major and minor insulation,
lead wire, spacer ducts and insulating varnish.
Our
facilities include research and development, design
engineering, mechanical design, printed circuit board
manufacturing, steel cutting machinery, baking ovens,
vacuum impregnation tanks, coil winding equipment,
painting and steel fabrication to manufacture our
own enclosures.
Modern
testing equipment assures that the equipment we ship
meets all the requirements and specifications of our
customers. Impulse testing is available at the customer's
request.
