Electrical Engineer

Under supervision of senior engineering staff, participate in team designing high capacity power and distribution transformers. Develop specifications based on customer requirements working from past Neeltran products of similar complexity. Coordinate release of documents and bill of materials and coordinate engineering release with manufacturing, QC and test departments. Monitor project progress status, update supervisor, and announce potential delays. Maintain database records of errors, improvements, etc., to allow future improvement of products and design and manufacturing procedures.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and three years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., master’s degree in electrical engineering).

Lead Power Supply Test Engineer

Conducts environmental, operational and performance tests on DC power supplies, electrical, electromechanical products, controls, and systems applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering. Tests, records, and reports test data. Conducts tests with our test technicians to ensure that the operational testing conforms to functional specification and customer requirements. Under the direction of the project engineer, customizes operational and maintenance manuals, determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and three years of experience as an Electrical, Field or Test Engineer or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., master’s degree in electrical engineering)
